Claude API or native app. Which should I use? This is my biggest question I have this week for this 30 day challenge. What I did yesterday? For the past few days, I’ve been hitting usage/token limits on Claude within 20–30 minutes of work. This often results in a 3–4 hour wait before I can resume. Yesterday, I ran into "Your message will exceed the length for this chat. Try shortening the message or starting a new conversation." Speaking with the mastermind group I've running, I got some helpful feedback from Ze'ev Abrams & Jonathan Blumenthal on API limits. Matan Yossef, would love your feedback as a developer too. As well as, any AI experts in my network. Short answer is there's a chat limit where keeping all the history in 1 chat, you run into the max limit. Since every chat reply has to look up the entire history rather than 'remember it or have it in memory.' So I need to start a new chat and hope by uploading the code or somehow, Claude can understand what has been done, what the product idea was, and what is left to do to complete it. Without gaps or issues. Also, read online that using the API gives you far more tokens. Cursor has Claude integration but the videos I watched prior, suggested not using this as Claude will give you the explanations you'll miss via integration.
