Friedrich Fromm was a German General and the Commander of the Replacement Army, and he was seen as a talented and skilled member of the German military during World War 2. He was in charge of ensuring that the Army had supplies and armaments, but Fromm was a man who was known to challenge Hitler and his running of the war effort. He was outspoken and he would go against Hitler at times, but when the July 20th Plot failed, Fromm played executioner but he too would meet his end at a firing range. Friedrich Fromm was apprehended after the failing of the plot, and he aroused suspicion as he was in charge of executing some of the co-conspirators and he did this without permission. Hitler then sentenced Fromm to death, and he was taken out of his prison cell and he was executed in front of an army firing squad.
