"Ostpreußenlied" - Anthem of East Prussia

Ostpreußenlied was the anthem of the German province of East Prussia from the early 30's up untill the dissolution of the province after World War II. The song was originally a part of Herbert Brust's "oratio der Heimat" with the fragment that would eventually become the anthem being written by Erich Hannighofer. During the expulsion of East Prussia during the latter half of the 40's, the song became an epitome of the inhabitant's longing for their old homeland.
