What a fantastic walk through the giants; most standing tall, but a few behemoths have fallen to the ground and lay like a beached blue whale. Otherworldly to stand next to these creatures. We arrived midday on a Saturday and decided not to hike with hundreds of our not-closest friends. Instead, we returned at 7am the following day for a meditative walk as the sun began peaking through the forest and the birds and squirrels were our only companions.
