🎨 Watercolour Art Tutorial for Beginners: Initial Name Art and Olive ALeaf Painting 🍃✍️ Hi Everyone! 👋🏻 Thanks for being here! Todays tutorial is a fun and waay watercolour olive branch tutorial. We’re going to use washi tape or masking fluid (i didnt have any Handy!) to block out an initial and paint around it. Once you remove the tape or fluid, you’ll be left with a really nice piece of art that will make a great baby room, nursery or kids room wall art, and a great gift idea! This tutorial is great for all levels, and doesn’t require a lot of supplies, listed below for ease. Watercolours are super relaxing, fun and create great art projects. This little tutorial is sure to put you in a quiet and meditative space. Lets get started! Supplies: ✲ Watercolour Paper (cold press or cotton rag is preferred). I'm using Canson’s Heritage Cold Press Watercolour Paper. ✲ Watercolours: Winsor and Newton's Professional / Cotman Series – Colours: Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Sepia, Olive Green, Sap Green, Perylene Green, Lemon Yellow and Indigo. ✲ Watercolour Brush: Princeton Neptune Series 4 Round, and Princeton VelvetTouch Filbert Size 4 Round ✲ 1 or 2 Jars of water and a cloth for wiping you brush. ✲ Tape (washi or gentle painters tape). ✲ Pencil, Eraser and Ruler Additional Supplies / Options: ✲ Masking Fluid (I use Winsor and Newton) Happy Painting! =) If you're new here, I'm Donata Delano.
