Welcome back to my Northern Spain motorcycle adventure! In Part 1, we covered serious ground on the highways from near Lisbon. Now, picking up near Lamego, it's time for the scenery to take center stage! Join me as I ride through the absolutely stunning, iconic landscapes of the Douro Valley. We'll swap the fast lanes of the A24 and A4 for the picturesque route on the IC5, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking views of the Douro terraces. This leg of the journey is a feast for the eyes, showcasing the incredible beauty of Portugal's wine region before heading further north.
