DESCRIPTION I quickly composed this concerto for Piano and strings today, not a perfect counterpoint but for this intial version it sounds reasonably good. The concerto starts with basic chords to establish the initial tonality with a rhythtic motive used at the end of the piece as a recap. The initial theme is then introduced in the key of D minor, with a stretto and variations follow in different keys. The piano takes the lead at bar 17 with a succession of fast thirds previously introduced by the strings and later have some little fun with the counterpoints alternating between low and high registers. Then, at the end the rhythmic motive introduced at the very beginning by the strings and then the piano concludes.
