"Skeletal Shenanigans" (Demon) by YoReid & Airzyy | Geometry Dash 2.2

YoReid needs no introduction on the channel, having made many bangers that I've uploaded in the past. Airzyy is less known, but I have uploaded one level by them. It's called "ERA" and you should definitely check it out. That was a "lower effort" level, which made me interested to see what they do in the future, but my expectations were definitely blown out of the water with this. Together with YoReid, they've made a fantastic skeleton themed level. All the custom block designs and art look great across the board, and you'd think it was a solo level given the consistency; YoReid and Airzyy definitely worked perfectly together here. Reading their descriptions, this was also a combined effort for every part, meaning that they didn't split their work into separate parts but rather worked together on everything, which also explains the consistency. The best part of the visuals, though, is definitely the animations. All of the skeletons seen throughout the level are carefully animated to feel alive, making the level extremely dynamic. As a result, it's an amazing experience just to watch too. Since I'm currently not able to play Geometry Dash for a bit, I wasn't able to try out the gameplay myself. Special thanks to Floppy for recording this level, which will most likely be Medium or Hard Demon, for the channel. Given the visual quality, I really wanted to get this video up as soon as possible. Judging by what people have said, though, it seems like the gameplay is good as well. Some people found the bossfight noticeably trickier than the rest, but I like the look of the indicators helping you out; I'm glad they're not just arrows guiding you entirely. I also don't mind some attacks repeating, as it fits the song too. If there are no major issues in the gameplay, I think this deserves a Mythic rating to be honest.
