Yoru ni Kakeru - YOASOBI (Piano) | Sheet Music

Sheets: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... MIDI and MuseScore file is also included. I made the sheet music to be as readable as I possibly could :D - - - Finally, I finished arranging YOASOBI's Racing Into The Night for solo piano. This is a continuation of my short arrangement  around 2 years ago. This is probably the most time I put into writing an arrangement. There's already quite a number of covers from other arrangers, but I wanted to make something myself too! I've been aching to upload this before schoolwork piles up even further, so the performance is pretty rushed. I wish I had someone to play this piece for me, haha. Some of the keys have become loose, so it was difficult to accentuate a few notes. * * * When I first started arranging this song, I asked myself, how would Animenz do it? From what I know, the arrangements of Animenz are inspired by classical music, and its aspects blend with the contemporary style of the piece that is arranged. With that challenge in mind, I racked my brains for ideas and came up with like dozens of variations for each part, then I put together the ones that flow well. I had ideas that I liked that were scrapped to balance the arrangement. Stuff that I considered while arranging: - I tried to make sure that the arrangement is not too annoying to play. When I looked for inspiration from other covers, some arrangements used rapid right-hand octaves. I tried it on my arrangement, but it was too tiring for me, haha. - I looked into the lyrics, then I based the arrangement on how the context is interpreted into groovy music (the lyrics are absolutely contrasting with the actual music for some reason) - I wanted every note to matter, so I took my time revising everything. Before it was finalized, the arrangement had tons of left-hand runs, and a lot of 3-hand variations. Then I thought, maybe less is more. I wanted to prioritize balancing the harmony, after all. At the end of the day, it's about making something that sounds pleasant to listen to. * * * Special thanks to my friends for giving me feedback on my arrangement :D
