Victorian Main Street Hides Stunning Antiques & Vintage Beyond the Ordinary!

We weren’t expecting a place like this in a place like this! Etageres, hall trees, art pottery figures, pre-Prohibition beer advertising, even old tin roof panels… this is not the stuff of suburban California! But it’s what we’re finding in Woodland Main Street Antique Mall, nestled in the old walking district of this 1850s town. True antiques sell alongside valued vintage here, making it a fun tour and a place with things to buy! A fun mix of those things runs throughout the store. Fenton Coin Spot and Paden City Peacock Etch glass, a scenic Royal Copenhagen vase, and a stout 1890s brass inkwell occupy the first aisle, alongside a stylish 1930s dresser with a shaving-stand-style top and an elegant 1890s mahogany etagere. There’s plenty of cool vintage too, from Garden City ceramics and faux snakeskin luggage to a fun PY lemon tea set, 1930s quilts, and Morgantown Crinkle glassware. We pick up a fun 1940s cigarette tin and glassware from various World’s Fairs as we comb the selection, along with an iron Goofy figure from Disney’s early years and a bunch of Pre-Prohibition advertising toothpick holders from 1910s Sacramento. Good prices on art glass, a 1940s photo album, and an older Schlitz neon sign grab our attention, and we can’t help but smile at the Yosemite Sam banner hanging from the ceiling! A case full of interesting antiquarian books and a Wyandotte gymnast are among the things we see scarcely as we walk about. Sure, there are the usual suspects we expect to see in California antique malls, including a Kim Ward ceramic figure, Howard Pierce stoneware, Franciscan Apple, and a huge pile of ashtrays liberated from casinos in nearby Reno and Lake Tahoe!
