State Early Learning Standards: Lessons from Applying Implementation Research (REL Northeast)

The Early Childhood Education Research Alliance at REL Northeast & Islands and the Center for Enhancing Early Learning Outcomes (CEELO) co-hosted this Bridge Event on the research around implementing early learning standards. Dr. Catherine Scott-Little presented on the challenges states face and the successes they’ve made in implementing their early learning standards, while Melissa Van Dyke outlined best practices related to implementation. Harriet Feldlaufer and Michelle Levy weigh in on where Connecticut is in the work, as well as specific challenges and successes the state has faced in implementing its ELS.
