Crazy fast cheap DIY Precious Plastic Shredder / Blender with Angle Grinder – Recycling Machine

333g Plastic in 2min❗ It doesn't matter if you want to Shred Apples or Plastic, this Shredder is your friend. Normal Blenders are weak and tiny, Woodchipper only produce big chunks, small Homemade DIY Plastic Shredder are quite expensive and difficult to build. Through the gearing of the Angle Grinder this Blender / Shredder provides much more torque per Watt than a normal Blender while still having enough rotational speed to keep also providing a “Blender-Effect”. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages. So, this Shredder shreds about 333g of Plastic in 2min, something other DIY Shredders just can dream about, but only under certain conditions. The material in the Video is PP (Polypropylene), HDPE the one with the most common DIY Recycling approaches, for example from Precious Plastic, don´t really work on first tests. The good news is that PP are even more used (in Europe), so easy to get for example laundry basket mostly made of PP, it´s easier to press in exact shape, it´s one of a few plastics that mostly don´t contain softener, even if it gets burned it basically just release CO2 and water vapor and it´s more expensive than HDPE ;) Update For the 3D printing guys: Even larger 3D printed parts with 3 times 0,8mm outer shell shredding is working quite nice, but it made dents in the cooking pot, brake the acrylic on top and bend the blade.
