Reza Shah Street was built in 1931 with the approval and permission of the Ministry of Interior (current country) in order to develop and beautify the city, between Nazmieh Square and Sabzeh Square and is one of the busiest places in Rasht. This sidewalk is located on the west side of Shahrdari Street and connects the two old squares of the city. This street is 275 meters long and 27 meters wide, including two six-and-a-half-meter walkways and two green spaces that were built in six months. The construction of Reza Shah cultural sidewalk in Rasht began in late August 2012 and was put into operation in late March 2013. Reza Shah sidewalk is one of the phases of the larger project, which will pave all the streets leading to Shahrdari Square. This street is one of the oldest streets in Rasht and today is one of the liveliest streets in Rasht. The old people of Rasht call this street Champs Elysees. In the middle of this sidewalk, there are many statues that show Gilani men at work. These sculptures are very beautifully and cleverly designed. They lack gender and detail, and depict situations in people's daily lives and work with an artistic eye.
