Today we will show how to create an imitation of smooth marble on the walls. Marble walls will be a good for decoration of both classical interiors and modern interiors, for example, in the loft style For marble imitation , we use Arte Veneziano acrylic Venetian plaster. On the prepared surface, we evenly apply the first layer of non-tinted Venetian plaster, the first layer is Venetian plaster in a white base, completely re-covering the surface. To apply the plaster we use a stainless steel spatula. Any streaks that can appear when applying the first layer will provide an additional decorative effect when coating subsequent plaster layers. As soon as the first coat has dried out, after 4 hours, we start applying the second layer and forming a pattern. For the second layer we use tinted decorative plaster in several different colors second layer: we use about 6 colors of separately tinted plaster or we use combination of approximately 6 colors of tinted plaster prepared individually We put several colors of plaster on the spatula, one of them are the accent color. Now we apply the plaster onto the surface in smooth long strokes imitating natural streaks of marble surface. During pattern formation, we apply the plaster from dark to light colors. Then we immediately remove the excess material and polish the finished surface with the spatula. When the plaster has dried out completely, the surface can be polished, if necessary, using fine abrasive wheels. Abrasive wheels 500 to 1500. We polish the surface. After polishing, we treat the surface with Cera Lavabile protective wax. The wax shall be applied in a very thin layer. To apply the wax, use a stainless steel spatula. The edges of the spatula for waxing should be well sharpened to avoid scratching and damaging the wax layer.
