Join us this Sunday at 3pm PST for a new episode of The Unwritten Rules of the Road with Tash Cox, featuring guest Mark Paradise—DJ, promoter, and longtime contributor to the goth/industrial music scene. Mark has been part of the dark electronic music world since the late '80s, when he first got hooked after hearing Microchip League’s "New York New York." Since then, he’s become a familiar name in the scene, known for his thoughtful curation and deep love for the music. He’s a resident DJ at The Castle in Tampa, where he’s played every Saturday night upstairs for over a decade. He also co-hosts Communion After Dark, a weekly online radio show and podcast that’s helped spotlight countless artists across EBM, synthpop, darkwave, and industrial genres. In addition to his DJ work, Mark is the organizer behind Absolution Fest, an annual event in Florida that brings together a wide range of bands from the international dark music community, including acts like VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Combichrist, and Grendel.
