Two core pillars of OHDSI research—estimation and prediction—took center stage during our upcoming April 22 community call (11 am ET). As part of our Analysis April theme, this session highlighted the progress we're making in real-world evidence generation and showcases the tools and methods driving this work forward. This video highlighted progress in estimation, and it was led by George Hripcsak (Vivian Beaumont Allen Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Columbia University) and Marc Suchard (Professor of Biostatistics, Biomathematics, & Human Genetics, UCLA). It focused on two different methods for estimation research through the Strategus tool: CohortMethod and Self-Controlled Case Series.
