A rollercoaster ride for North Narrabeen's own Jordan Lawler ended in exaltation with his first-career Challenger Series victory and did so as a wildcard. Lawler overpowered former CTer Alejo Muniz in defiant form with a 7.93 and 7.83 in his score line to bring a massive win to his local supporters on the beach. The Challenger Series’ second stop is Narrabeen, one of Sydney’s premier breaks and one of the proudest surf communities on the continent. Renowned for producing long, reeling lefts as well as notable Championship Tour competitors, the wave will test relegated CT surfers and up-and-coming talents alike as they battle to make the tour.
