CSIR NGRI Recruitment 2025: Exciting Opportunities for JSA and Stenographer Posts – Apply Now! The CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad, a prestigious R&D institution under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced its latest recruitment drive for 2025. This notification, Advertisement No. 4/2025 dated 30.05.2025, invites online applications from bright, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Indian nationals for the positions of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer. Interested candidates have a golden opportunity to join a premier scientific organization. The online application process commences on June 1, 2025, and concludes on June 30, 2025. CSIR NGRI Vacancy Breakdown 2025 The institute has notified vacancies for the following posts: Post Code Name of the post No. of posts JSA Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen) 01 JSG Junior Stenographer 03 CSIR NGRI Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions as of the last date for online application submission (June 30, 2025). Essential Qualifications: Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) (Post Code: JSA): 10+2/XII or its equivalent. Proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time (currently 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi). This corresponds to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. Note: A 3-year diploma acquired after 10th standard is treated as equivalent to 12th standard if the diploma is a recognized course from a recognized institution. Junior Stenographer (Post Code: JSG): 10+2/XII or its equivalent. Proficiency in stenography as per prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time. This involves one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidate) at a speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand, with transcription time of 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi. Age Limit (as on 30.06.2025): Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen): Not exceeding 28 years. Junior Stenographer: Not exceeding 27 years. The minimum age for all applicants is 18 years as on the last date of submission of the online application. Age Relaxations: Details on age relaxations for various categories (EWS, SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, CSIR Departmental Candidates, Widows, divorced women, etc.) are applicable as per Government of India/CSIR rules. For instance: PwBD: Age relaxation of 10 years for Unreserved (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC). This is applicable if the post is identified as suitable for the relevant disability category and the disability is not less than 40%. Ex-Servicemen (EXS): Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered. CSIR Departmental Candidates (Regular Employees): No age limit, provided they possess the prescribed qualifications. Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated (not re-married): Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST for reserved posts). Junior Stenographer: Level – 04 of Pay Matrix as per VII CPC (₹25500 to ₹81100). Total Emoluments: Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen): Approximately ₹38,907/-* p.m. (including HRA in Class ‘X’ City). Junior Stenographer: Approximately ₹52,755/-* p.m. (including HRA in Class ‘X’ City). Other Benefits: Usual allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as admissible to central government employees and as applicable to CSIR employees.
