New Garo Song With the cooperation between Caritas Mymensingh Region and Krengna, an Audio CD title Ri.ngbo A.chik Bi.sarang has been produced on Garo songs featuring rising and potential Garo artists. The purpose of this production is encouraging the rising as well as potential artists in their Garo language. On 16-17 June 2019, a musical competition on original Garo songs was arranged at Mymensingh, where many songs written by prominent Garo lyricists and researches have been performed, and from the competition 7 potential performers have been selected for this production. They are currently working to inspire the new generations for practicing Garo culture, and encouraging other indigenous communities as well by producing new albums. This production aims to preach the innovative work of the rising stars to people as well as document the culture. It will encourage the new Garo generations as well as other indigenous communities. Hence, we dedicate this production to the new generations along with the lyricists as well as the researchers so that they play further significant roles on practicing and nurturing the culture.
