In this episode, the player can see that Rod takes J to his factory after a short trip, he was pleased with himself and was singing about how the kids were all stupid and ended up in their cages while pulling J's cage as the latter was trapped inside. Upon entering the Quality Control Room, J's friends were shocked seeing him trapped as well. Rod tells them sarcastically about how they all have "reunited" and can tell each other stories about their "adventures." However, Rod warns them to not to get too comfortable and threatens them that as they all are now obese, he will slowly take them to the Extraction Room where he will squeeze them to the last drop to potentially be turned into ice cream. In the Bad Ending, there are actually two different endings, either J will be frozen in Rod's freezer, or he will be taken to the Extraction Room. However, in the Good Ending, after J frees his friends, Rod hears them cheering and chases them all into the tubes which lead to other places in the factory. The tube Mike went into led him to the Engine Room, the tube Charlie went into led him into the Factory's Kitchen, and the tube Lis went into led into the factory's Laboratory. ADVERTISEMENT Trivia In this game, only the lobby and half of the first floor of the factory is accessible. However, in Ice Scream 5, you can access almost all the areas on the first floor, with the Dump Room being accessible and the Extraction Room still inaccessible, as well as the entire Hydroelectric Power Plant also accessible when you're playing as Mike and the top floor as J. Moreover, in Ice Scream 6, you can access the entire second floor as Charlie. This is the first game of the series to not use the Travel-Map System since the kids are trapped in the factory. The map would return in Ice Scream 7. This was formerly the last Ice Scream game that used an icon of Rod holding a number, similar to the first three games, but the other games' icons changed to match. In Ice Scream 4, Extreme Mode was removed, and Easy Mode was added. It has remained this way for every episode since. The "Darker" mode was also released in Ice Scream 4 first. Hard Mode with the Darker Mode functions the same way Extreme Mode functioned; however, this change allows any difficulty to be darker. Many people were speculating an Ice Scream 4 due to the tragic ending of Ice Scream 3 where Rod captures all of J's friends again, before Keplerians eventually announced its development on January 12, 2021. It was in this game where the names of J and his friends were revealed, which are Owens, Carter, and Brown for Charlie and Lis, Mike, and J, respectively. The last names were revealed in the credits.
