Nikos Zervas identifies the value of cooperation in the business world into the following 3 stages: 1. The strength of the cooperation of the right people inside the business. 2. The requirements of a good collaboration between companies. 3. The benefits of the cluster business model. Dr. Nikos Zervas is a results-driven executive with extensive experience in the silicon IP industry. Blending strong business, management and technical skills, Nikos has been leading innovation and delivering growth to small and medium size companies for more than 15 years. He is currently the CEO of CAST Inc, where he previously served as a COO, VP of Marketing and VP of Engineering. Since he joined CAST in 2010, Nikos has been instrumental in transforming CAST’s business model, forming strategic alliances, defining, developing and launching successful silicon IP core products, and significantly increasing CAST’s revenue and profitability. Prior to working at CAST, Nikos co- founded Alma Technologies, the first Greek silicon IP vendor, and served as Chairman and CEO for nine years. Under his leadership Alma Technologies bootstrapped to become a reputable provider of cutting edge image and video compression silicon IP cores. Nikos served on the board of the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association from 2009 until 2013, where he was responsible for strategic planning. Nikos received a Diploma and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Patras Greece, in 1997 and 2003 respectively.
