With each reign, a milestone is achieved. The kingdom flourishes its assets while its heritage is greatly preserved and well nourished. Education was greatly improved, independence was attained and its economy was significantly raised. Since its establishment, trade and commerce was brought in through foreign trade investments particularly on the cultivation of rice, coffee, sugar, cotton and indigo. Historically, indigo became of economical importance as blue dyes were once rare. While local craftsmen excel in the arts of batik, silver and leather work. Since its establishment, the kingdom of Mataram strives to do its best for its people by improving their life standards through new business ventures.
