In this video I’m going to talk about my BOSS RC-600 Loop Station. I’ll talk about how I have used loops in my work over the years, how I came to get the RC-600 and the other gear that I tried to do similar things with along the way - the Polyend Tracker, Elektron Model:Samples, Elektron Digitakt and the 1010 Music Black Box. Then I’ll go through its inputs and outputs, internal architecture of tracks and effects and then I’ll talk about how I use it as a creative studio tool to make ambient guitar music. I’ll play out the video with one of the tracks I’ve made using the unit.
