Day 1 Date of Journey - 3rd April 2025 We took a flight from Indra Gandhi Airport Delhi to Tan Son Nhat International Airport Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City Airport). Lantern Hotel - We booked our accommodation here for double occupancy. Tariff: VND - 11,80,000 INR - 3,800 Gujarat Indian Restaurants - We had dinner here. Bui Vien Walking Street - This street is always crowded with tourists who come here to have fun, try local cuisines. This street is well-known for its lively nightlife. Tourists take a tour of Ho Chi Minh City on Saigon waterbus. Waterbus Ticket: VND - 15,000 INR - 50 Ambrosia Cafe Bistro - We had coffee here. Cappuccino: VND - 75,000 INR - 240 Taxi service - Grab is a very reliable taxi service in Vietnam, you can download the app and during your travel in the city, you can book cab and do journey with ease. Taxi we hired - we hired a 16 seater vehicle for our visit in and around Ho Chi Minh city, we did this booking from an ageny in Hanoi, for which we paid 150 USD for each day plus 8% VAT. If you pay in cash, they will not charge you VAT. 7 seater vehicle is usually available for 12 to 13 hours for around 120 USD and 16 seater for a cost around 140 to 150 USD. Since our day is hectic, so we hired a vehicle for long duration. If you are looking at hiring a vehicle, it will be better if you check this out with the agency of that city, so in this case Ho Chi Minh city, over all people in Vietnam are quite dependable. They may ask you for 100% advance and settle on 50% advance payment which is ok, but they will not wait for journey end for the balance 50%..
