Selected by "Conscious Movie Reviews," "Dunkirk" is a historical, action and adventure drama about the evacuation of 300,000 British troops from the French beachfront of Dunkirk during World War II. The men were cornered by the Germany Nazis moving in on them by land, air and sea. It was a heroic effort by the Great Britain's military and civilians with small boats to get them ferried back to England - only 30 miles away. The mission was called "Operation Dynamo" by newly appointed Prime Minister Winston Churchill. "Conscious Movie Reviews" has highlighted some historical inaccuracies within the "Dunkirk" film and to reveal some little known history affecting the mission: Of the over 300,000 evacuees, 190,000 of them were French troops; When France surrendered to Germany, the French troops previously evacuated at Dunkirk were under the military orders of the new Vichy French Government (serving as Hitler's puppet) to later fight the British and Allied Forces in North African and French colonies; Adolph Hitler ordered his Panzer armored truck division and trailing infantry men to stand down for three days, which allowed time for a successful evacuation; As all wars are bankers' wars, Hitler was financed by The Bank of England, American bankers and over 500 major U.S. companies.
