✏️Nutrition and mental health: is there a link? A growing research suggests the answer is yes. The findings stem from an emerging field of research known as nutritional psychiatry, which looks at the relationship between diet and mental health. Several studies have shown a link between overall diet quality and the risk of depression and anxiety. A healthy diet (anti-inflammatory diet) is protective and an unhealthy diet (Western-style diet) is a risk factor for these mental health conditions.
