Bank RUN Spreads to EUROPE - Credit Suisse COLLAPSE

The stock market and bank stocks saw another wave of selling today as Credit Suisse credit risk hit an all time high, bringing the bank run global. European financials took a hit today as biggest shareholder of CS stock said they would not buy any more of the bank for a number of reasons. This set off a chain reaction bringing Credit Suisse to the brink of collapse and drawing down all other European banks. Although this may seem like an overseas problem and Credit Suisse has already been in trouble before, the fear spread to US equities as investors digested the idea of SVB risk already spreading overseas. This led to another massive move in the bond markets and a repricing of rate, with now over 100BPS of rate cuts priced in for this year and even a rate pause at the March meeting. This was a clear escalation to the banking crisis that stemmed from the collapse of SVB bank and now all eyes will be on regulators & the Fed to see what is next.
