We have used hand cranked pasta rollers in the past and had basically given up on homemade pasta. The KitchenAid Meat Grinder Attachment and the Food Grinder attachment both did a great job at grinding meat. However, the all metal meat grinder attachment seemed much more sturdy if you plan on grinding a lot of your own meat at home. The KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker did exactly what it was supposed to and it was very simple to use and clean up afterward. after making our first batch of homemade ice, we instantly started imagining all the wonderful ice cream flavors we would want to create! The KitchenAid Fruit and Vegetables Strainer was actually pretty amazing. I was skeptical about how it was going to work. But, it did turn our tomatoes into a nice smooth pure without skins and seed. The attachment would probably be great for someone who does home canning and would like to speed up the process.
