The song was written, recorded, mixed, mastered and made into a video during the Covid-19 lockdown in Spring / Summer 2020. Everything was self-produced. Says Steve, "With Meet me on the Moon, I tried to create something that could resonate with anyone. It is mostly based arond a conversation between a couple, as they start to contemplate the reality that one of them will outlive the other. But I wanted to leave it open to interpretation, with lines such as "I lost my train of thought and I don't know what to say to you", because that is the kind of thing that could apply in any situation and it's something we can all struggle with at times." Like Steve's previous single, Fear of Change (   • Steve Twinley: Fear of Change (Official Mu...  ), Meet me on the Moon doesn't shy away from difficult subject matter. But its message is ultimately one of hope, and the assertion that if we can learn to communicate better with each then we can all learn, grow and increase our chances of happiness. Steve is a singer-songwriter from Bognor Regis, West Sussex, UK.
