Representing the new standard in patient care and the practice of medicine, the Verstandig Pavilion includes: • 31 new operating room surgical suites that give surgeons 4K visualization for robotic and minimally invasive surgery; spectral imaging technology allows our surgeons to identify critical anatomy, blood flow, and detect cancer margins not visible to the naked eye; a large interactive touchscreen dashboard equips our surgical teams to connect with other clinical experts virtually anywhere in the world in real-time without having to leave the patient’s side. • A movable interoperative MRI. No other moving-magnet IMRIS system in the region gives clinicians the ability to perform real-time imaging without transferring surgery patients outside the operating room. Imaging while the patient is secured in the OR maximizes patient safety, surgical precision, and assurance for the patient’s family that their loved one is receiving the best possible care. • A rooftop helipad with direct access to the emergency and operating rooms to transport critical patients rapidly when every minute counts.
