Intending and eligible candidates may apply online here for admission into 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology Courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the session 2025-26. No. of seats in State Government Polytechnics are 4425 seats for 22 Nos. of different Diploma programmes (As per 2024 DTE official notification) . Total No. of seats: 4385 seats Eligibility Criteria of Assam Polytechnic Admission Resident-ship: Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of Counseling. He/she may be allowed to take provisional admission on production of PRC Application Receipt and submission of undertaking regarding submission of final PRC within 60 days. If the candidate fails to submit the PRC within stipulated time, his/her seat will be cancelled. Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science.
