The first Halo I ever played, I couldn't name the game at the time but I remember playing local multiplayer matches at a Boy Scouts all nighter, that small memory somehow found it's way back to me when my dad asked me what games do I want for my new Xbox 360 and I randomly said "Halo 3". Halo 2 is the biggest Halo that makes it clear that if you didn't play this when it was out / a lot, then you're going to struggle. Other Halos it feels like you can pick it up and go without and there's no huge skill gap but Halo 2 felt different. Always feels like it's the one I struggle in matches with the most when I play today. Campaign wise I thought it was okay, I liked the different perspective with the Arbiter and I wished they kept it up in Halo 3 but this campaign is also full of repetitious zones, clunky melee (game wide thing) and the Flood. Blur's cutscenes are unreal though and this remaster is a far better work than CE's was hence why I play on it in this game and didn't for Halo: CE.
