From where to download the ATM9 server files to how to create an All The Mods 9 server to how to play All The Mods 9 with your friends on the server you create. This video covers it making sure to go over every single step of making a server with ATM9 in-depth. First things first, you and everyone who joins your server will need to download and install All The Mods 9 using the CurseForge installer. We have a complete guide on how to do this liked in the description above. Everyone who joins the server needs to be playing ATM9 through CurseForge in order to be able to join. From there, we can move on to actually making the server. In the description above, there is a link to download the All The Mods 9 server files. On that page, click on the “Files” tab. Then, selected the newest version of All The Mods 9. Scroll down, and you will see a “Server-Files” file under the Additional Files section. Click the three dots next to this, and select “Download File”. The All The Mods 9 server files will begin downloading. From there, move the files to your desktop, right-click on then, and click “Extract”. Confirm your ant to extract all the files. Once it is finished, open the server files folder. To start your server, double-click on the “startserver.bat” Windows batch file. You may get a warning, but it is safe to click “More info” and “Run anyway”. Your All The Mods 9 server will start downloading tons of files and getting things ready for the server to start. Eventually, things will fail though, but you will have an “eula.txt” file in the Server Files folder. Open that, and change “eula=false” to “eula=true” if you agree to the Minecraft EULA. After that, double-click the “startserver.bat” to start your server again. This time, it will finish starting. However, you are the only person that can join your ATM9 server at this point. Just open up All The Mods 9 using CurseForge and join using the IP “localhost”. This is good to do before allowing your friends to join as if you can’t run the server and play on it at the same time, you won’t be able to run it with your friends online while playing. If you do want to play All The Mods 9 with your friends though, you will need to port forward. We go over exactly how to port forward for an ATM9 Minecraft server, but the quick version is that you will need to forward port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocols. Once your port forward is complete, your friends can join the server using your public IP address, which can be found at the link in the description above. You can give your friends your public IP and as long as they are playing the All The Mods 9 modpack via CurseForge, they will be able to join your server.
