A failed theatre director, Maria is projecting her own failures on her only son, obsessively wanting to make a great actor out of him despite his obvious lack of talent. How far is she willing to go? He majored in acting and is best known for his work in the theatre. In 2016 he decided to make his debut as a filmmaker and started working on the script for the short film „Offstage”. The short film eventually won the award for Best Live Action Short Film at the Oscar qualifying Warsaw Film Festival in 2018.
