I would like to use this opportunity to teach you some travel vocabulary ;) The first phrase for the first video is 'to go sightseeing'. There are different types of holidays: beach holidays sightseeing holidays cruises family visits and so on. Which holidays do you prefer? Tell me in the comments! When you go to a historic city, for example, it's a sightseeing holiday, like the one we are having now. These are cities with historical places to visit. We call them 'sights' or 'tourist attractions' or 'places of interest'. We came to Trier to see 'Porta Nigra', a segment of Roman wall which used to be a part of the border fortification in the times of the Roman Empire. In fact, it's one of the best-saved monuments from the Roman times in Europe. So, it is a famous tourist attraction! Do you live in a city with a lot of sights? Which sights would you recommend to visit in your city?
