Robert De Niro has meltdown over Donald Trump while on The View

Goodfellas star Robert De Niro has had a complete meltdown over the prospect of Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential election. De Niro appeared on ABC’s The View on Tuesday, where the show had to mute the actor four times during his rant. The 80-year-old compared the former president to dictators Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. “I don't understand why people are not taking him seriously, because you read about it historically in other countries that they didn't take the people seriously,” he said. De Niro recently blasted Trump as a “sick person” and a “stupid bully” while on MSNBC's The 11th Hour last week. Trump has also criticised the actor, with the former president calling De Niro a “total loser” last year.
