Difficulty: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (Beginner) – see below rating for detail The Minuet in G by Beethoven is a piece that most students would have play it. The minuet dance was very popular back in 18th-century. The music later developed to a longer music form called the minuet and trio, which was often used as a movement within larger works such as symphony and sonata. This usage was later replaced by the scherzo in 19th-century, partly influenced by Beethoven. This weekend I decided to revisit this famous piece and do a recording. I thought it will take me an easy afternoon, but at the end I spent two days to figure out how to play it better and practice it to a point that the whole recording is error-free (my chance of making mistakes is a LOT higher when the red button is on). Take a break from busy life and immerse to the light and graceful dance in 18th century! =========================================================================== Difficulty Rating – I made this chart for tracking my progress.
