After checking out over 120 luxury villas and visiting 60+ islands, I want to show you around the Deluxe InOcean Pool Villa at Angsana Velavaru Maldives and share my honest thoughts. 🌴 Deluxe InOcean Pool Villa – Checking Out This Overwater Spot Floating above the super clear waters of the South Nilandhe Atoll, the Deluxe InOcean Pool Villa is a pretty unique Maldivian overwater experience. When I stayed, I got to explore its two levels. There's a king-sized bedroom facing the ocean with seriously amazing panoramic views. The bathroom is elegant, and the living area is spacious, mixing comfort with that island luxury feel. Head up to the rooftop terrace, and you'll find a spot set up for private dinners under the stars – quite romantic. The deck by the private pool was my go-to spot for just chilling out, soaking in the ocean views, and catching the sunset. Plus, there's an overwater hammock for peak relaxation. It's a big space at 232 sqm, good for up to three people, so definitely works for couples or even a small family. 🏖️ Angsana Velavaru Maldives – Quick Look at the Resort Angsana Velavaru is tucked away in a private lagoon in the quiet South Nilandhe Atoll. It's known as a top-tier all-inclusive place that mixes luxury vibes with the gorgeous natural setting of the Maldives. They've got different villa types – some on the beach, others overwater like this one – suiting couples and families. Food-wise, there are several options, a well-regarded spa to unwind in, plus plenty of water sports and diving if you're feeling adventurous near the house reef. They also put effort into sustainability and helping the local community, which adds a nice touch to the stay. ⚠️ A Few Things to Keep in Mind Okay, so while this Deluxe InOcean Pool Villa is luxurious and private, it's popular, so booking ahead (especially in busy times) is key. Also, being secluded in the South Nilandhe Atoll means it's peaceful, but factor in the extra travel time (usually a seaplane ride). And honestly? I felt the interiors could use a bit of a refresh. To me, they seemed a little tired and dated, and the colour choices weren't quite my style.
