In 2011, Obama hosted the White House Correspondents’ dinner where he squashed Trump’s claims and then went on to roast the billionaire. It is widely believed that it was that incident which made Trump run for President in 2016. Another incident between the two titans was when Trump tweeted against Obama, which Obama read on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and taunted Trump for not being President, only to hand him the White House within a few months. During the ceremony, another controversy erupted when Melania Trump gave Michelle Obama a gift.
