This is a copy of an old video I made, back in 2002 at the Grand Banquet at the SPSL (the Scottish Piping Society of London) following the Annual Competitions, often known as the 'Bratach Gorm' after the premier prize for ceol mor. See how many weel kent faces you recognise in the Parade of Pipers as they march around the dining tables, and those still seated. P/M Gordon Walker gives the National Toast and sings one of the 'Tunes of Glory' - "The Black Bear" with the able backing of his choir ! What a great meal, what great piping that day, what great pipers ..... what a great occasion !
