NSA 101: The Notice of Right to Cancel form (how to make corrections)

In a perfect world, the loan documents we receive as Notary Signing Agents all have CORRECT dates reflecting the date the signing is taking place. But this is not a perfect world, and sometimes the documents we receive show the wrong date. This video takes a look at the NOTICE OF RIGHT TO CANCEL forms and the correct way to make changes to signing and rescission dates. Remember we must present THREE COPIES of the RTC per signer. They must sign all three copies. Two of those signed copies are retained by the signer and one signed copy is returned with the executed loan documents. If the signers are named separately on each form, you will have a total of six RTC forms. Each signer signs separately and retains two copies. If the signers are both named on the same RTC form, you will have a total of THREE RTC forms. Then they both sign all three copies, retain two signed copies, and you return one signed copy with the executed loan package.
