LET'S GO!!!! This took me about 30-35 attempts, most runs ending due to poor damage at Ecthar or getting nuked by moths. The attrition modifier is genuinely a blessing here since you're always surrounded by enemies in this place and most healing is from on-demand sources like devour and resto anyways. I slightly modified the strats that I used in the original boss kills to make these runs a bit easier: For Ecthar, I tried leaving every enemy alive (including thralls) before damage for the highest chance of synthoceps procs. I used a slice fusion rifle to kill the well knight so I would get woven mail from the artifact mod 'to shreds', which helped survivability until I popped song of flame. I also used spirit of necrotic this time around, the damage increase is minuscule but still worth it. For Simmumah, the power of 'to shreds' cannot be understated. The combination of restoration and woven mail can make you survive almost any situation (unless like 3 moths explode on you at once). I used the trials trace rifle with slice to shoot moths and proc sever on acolytes, which means you can melee them and get restoration + woven mail, which makes getting the deepsight buff trivial. After I crushed the third hive ghost, I would quickly swap off 'to shreds' and put on 'limit break' for a bit of extra damage after I place my well. The hardest part is hitting the necessary amount of crits on the boss since she dodges so much. You'll need a little bit of luck if your aim isn't perfect, which nobody is.
