North Carolina was the destination of Torreya Guardians 2008 "rewilding" of Florida Torreya to its presumed ancestral home in pre-glacial warm times. Russ Regnery leads Connie Barlow on a tour of his young torreya trees 7 years later, at 3,800 feet elevation on the slope of Black Rock Mountain east of Franklin, NC. Filmed 29 April 2015.
