BMW E30 Drift. Is this BMW 3-series good for drifting?

The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21 3 Series. It had a front-engine, rear-wheel drive configuration. Weighing just over 1,000 kg (2200 lb), they were incredibly well balanced cars. The model range included a 2-door coupe and convertible, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in 4-door sedan and wagon body styles. The most powerful non-M3 model was the 325i powered by a 170hp 2.5 inline-6 engine (M20B25). Other 4 and 6 cylinder engines were available. Although engine swaps are very popular for this model, from more modern and powerful 6 & 8 cylinder BMW engines to other manufacturers’ engines. The first BMW M3 was built on the E30 platform and was powered by the high-revving BMW S14 four-cylinder, producing 220 hp. The E30 uses a front MacPherson and rear semi-trailing arm suspension. The rear suspension is very simple and requires very little maintenance. The semi-trailing arms have been criticized for the dynamic toe and camber changes inherent to the suspension geometry. Maybe that's why it's not that competitive for professional drifting. Nonetheless, many people praise the handling of the E30. The E30 was popular in motorsports from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. During this time, it won many awards, particularly in touring car championships. This model is still often used in motorsports today due to an excellent price-performance ratio; for example in rallying, racing or drifting. The E30 is a great choice for any drifter as they are extremely simple, reliable, easy to work on, and reasonably cheap to modify. This car is mainly used for drifting in Europe, as it was an affordable RWD car there, although the selling prices of these cars keep going up. #Drift #Drifting #BMWe30
