Circa (Around) 2001, Hip-Hop Producer SHA ONE and his label The Outfit Entertainment set out to make Desi Hip Hop - a genre of music that did not yet exist. Today, Desi Hip Hop is a widely known genre of music in South Asia, Canada, and the UK.
