so, i did it. 2 years and 2 months ago i started playing slaughterhouse. to explain my decision we need to look back in time. i started playing the game in 2015 and since then my main goal for the game was just to do big difficulty jumps, making my way up to being a good player. most of these were my own levels that i would build. the first main one was "stiched cap" which took me 8k and 4 years somehow, then i beat windy lanscape, and then cata. from here i wanted to do a big jump but wasnt sure yet so i got 97% on bloodbath, 85% on athanatos and some other stuff. at the time tartarus was top 1 so i started playing it hoping i could eventually jump to it. i got some runs like 64-100 and 31 which are nothing runs, then slaughterhouse came out and so i was sure ok no point in gonig for tartarus now so ill just go for slaughterhouse, i also was debating going for aod (which i wish i did), and acheron which at the time was getting verified by wolvez and was easier than the verified one so also wouldve been a good idea. but anyways i dont want to go into too much detail about the grind because i cant stand thinking about this level much more, but esentially i was making tiny runs for a very very long time i think river took me around 50k to do the first time. 49-100 is still the hardest grind ive done in the game which was like 1.5 years ago from now. it was extremely painful and i was playing for like 6-8 hours a day every day for a few months to get it (i had no life back then), ever since then i basically thought it couldnt get worse and in a way it didnt but it also did and i just grew older and gd was very hard to fit into my schedule, also at points the level was making me so mad and bored that i was losing passion for the game but i could never give up until i beat this one level. after this the main things of note were that i was COMPLETELY stuck at iris for no reason. i died at it 15 times i think before passing it once and then once i did i fluked to 87 because im rly good at cuber and terrible at iris. but after this i knew i had to get better at iris so i did and it was smooth sailing again until 92. 92 kinda killed me because i didnt think id die to the last cube and i knew it would take so long to get back there so i took a break from the game and also had a cut on my finger so i couldnt play. once i came back i had a massive buff from taking a break and so i got 90 2 more times pretty quick and then finally beat it. please never attempt a jump this big it is not a good idea and you can go have a life instead and just play the game casually which is what im now going to do. so for my future plans i basically wanted to build and verify a top 1 (being the final jump in my gd carrer) and was gonna make it silent and take me like 5 years, but i just dont think i would be able to only play casually and verify a top 1 even given 5 years, and i dont want to grind, so basically im never doing that. instead im gonna go for acheron because i believe i can beat that without grinding alot for a super long time (maybe for like the last week of the grind but yea). im also beating some easy extremes because im now good enough to beat those super easy. anyway thank you guys so much, being able to look back and know i actually did it is insane to me like i was so young when i started playing this and its just crazy. wouldnt have done it w out ur guys support so just tysm. also last thing to note i did this on the 2.1 gdps as 2.2 dropped when i had like 92 i think Every Death Past 50%: 51x206, 52x54, 53x82, 54x15, 55x14, 56x44, 57x14, 58x9, 59x2, 60x14, 62, 63x22, 64x5, 65x2, 66x2, 72x3, 75x2, 76x2, 78, 79, 80x4, 81x2, 82, 86, 87, 90x3, 92 Best Runs: 49-100x12, 45-100x9, 41-100, 33-100x5, 25-100, 23-100x2, 22-100, 15-87, 15-92 Hardest Part(s): 19-20%, 26%, 51-53%, 63%, 80-82% Total Attempts: 658,826 (lost atts after 2.2 so could be anywhere from ~650-670k) Level Enjoyment: 0/10 (Depression at its finest) Level Placement (at time of upload): #6 Personal Placement: This the only list level I've beaten so idk Raw Footage: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WWnt...
