Buy yours HERE -- http://amzn.to/1yuvf4S In this video I'm going to talk about an ignition module. If you're familiar with these it's probably because you've been working on your lawn mower chainsaw and you come across one that's been faulty or defective. Usually these items are very expensive they only range usually between $30 and $80 dollars. But in this repair using a universal ignition module like the one that I'm including a link to, save me over a $160 dollars. The ignition modules on the small air cooled engines are used to sense the magnetic pulse using the magneto that produces the spark also as the trigger. In this case the magneto went bad and the ignition module too. The fact that this is a Suzuki engine and is no longer being produced makes this part rather expensive at the dealer. So what I did was go to my old standby the universal ignition module. What I normally use these models for is replacing points and condensers on older engines. What you can do is just take the wire that is running to the coil on a points and condenser engine and clip the wire that's running down to the points and instead connected to the positive side of this ignition module. The other side then gets grounded to the engine block or blower housing. You have to be careful to make sure that it doesn't seem excessive vibration or heat just like you would for any other electronic component on an engine. It's really nice that you can buy these for less than $20 and you don't ever have to worry about replacing or adjusting points ever again. Thanks for watching my video
