Five injured after car used as weapon in mass brawl on street

Police in Wythenshawe, Manchester, are investigating after a mass brawl which saw a car used as a weapon and left five people injured. About ten men were involved in a vicious clash in the middle of a road in Wythenshawe on Sunday (May 12). The incident was captured on video and footage shows a vehicle being surrounded by one group who attack the occupants. The windscreen of the car is smashed during the ruck. The same vehicle is later driven at a group of four or five people standing on a grass verge but speeding off. Police believe weapons were used in the incident but have not specified what they were. Two men. aged 25 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. They both remain in custody for questioning.
