I'm in the process of renovating and reorganizing my garage, and wanted to do a quick comparison of these home depot containers vs. similar containers from costco. Good: Either of the containers should work fine for general storage. And the price of both (around $9 per container) is pretty affordable. Bad: Of course the two containers are slightly different dimensions so they don't stack nicely. Specifically the Costco containers are slightly longer and wider so they won't fit on top of the Home Depot containers. Ugly: Home Depot seems to be manufacturing these as cheaply as possible which is noticeable by the thinner/flimsier top, and the plastic pull-off defect on the underside of the lids. I noticed this defect on other Home Depot containers as well, so this wasn't just a one time mistake.
