What an incredible part of the world... Kings Canyon! Join us as we explore the 7km+ hike around the rim of the iconic Kings Canyon. This is an incredible hike and we reckon it's the best single day hike in the country. We didn't get the earliest of starts but we were straight into it and hiking up the steep 'staircase' to the top of the northern gorge wall. Surrounded by iconic and beautiful plants and landscapes we made our way towards The Garden Of Eden for a lunch stop after visiting the various lookout points along the trail. With the day moving on we picked up the pace after lunch and made our way along the southern rim before descending back to the carpark. We were so proud of young Harrison (5) for his resilience and determination to complete this walk, his biggest yet! With some strategic encouragement and the promise of some treats at the end he made it through on his own feet!
